Child Trafficking

Nan Deal

Child Trafficking in Cambodia and Vietnam

In 2009 Nan and Ron Deal suffered the devastating tragedy of losing one of their sons, Connor.  As a tribute to Connor's loves, and a ministry extension of the love of our Father, the Deals partnered with Touch a Life to provide art therapy to rescued children in Ghana.  Their art therapy ministry, Connor's Song, has provided many trafficked children with a beautiful way to heal.  As of August 2014, Touch a Life and Connor's Song serve 47 children in Ghana.

As 2014 rolled around, God began to burden Nan's heart to continue Connor's Song.  He made an opportunity for her to visit Cambodia and Vietnam for two weeks in June 2014.  In Asia Nan met with leaders of Bykota house, Place of Rescue, and Rapha House.  These existing ministries do not rescue children from dangerous jobs on the lake; they rescue children who have been trafficked for the purpose of sexual slavery.

Please pray for wisdom and guidance as Nan begins the process of joining one of these existing ministries to add another art therapy institute.  Pray for protection of all those working to save these children.  Most importantly, pray for protection and deliverance of trafficked children across the world.

Contact Nan for more information or to donate here.
